Live music in Pasadena this November

A friendly, sourced guide to the concerts ahead in Pasadena this November: Moby and Underworld co-headline an open-air show at Brookside at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, November 7, and the Pasadena Symphony plays Beethoven Symphony No. 7 at Ambassador Auditorium on Saturday, November 14, a night PLAVE also fills the Pasadena Civic, with dates, times, and ticket links.

November is a big month on Pasadena's stages. Moby and Underworld co-headline an open-air show at Brookside at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, November 7, one of only two North American dates on the tour. A week later, on Saturday, November 14, the Pasadena Symphony plays Beethoven Symphony No. 7 at the Ambassador Auditorium while PLAVE brings its world tour to the Pasadena Civic the same evening, so the city gets a full Saturday of music. I am Alejandro Espitia, a Broker Associate and REALTOR with Apex Realty and Investments, and Pasadena is my home turf. Licensed in California since 1996, with 200+ homes sold serving Los Angeles, San Bernardino, San Gabriel, and Riverside, and fluent in English and Spanish, I check the local listings each week so you can spend your evenings out enjoying the city instead of researching it. Every show below comes from a current public listing, with sources at the bottom of the post.

November 7: Moby and Underworld at Brookside

On Saturday, November 7, at 4:00 pm, the electronic music legends Moby and Underworld co-headline at Brookside at the Rose Bowl, 1001 Rose Bowl Drive. It is a Goldenvoice-produced, open-air show and one of only two North American dates the pair is playing together this year. The lineup stacks up behind them: Fcukers, Nia Archives (DJ set), DJ Holographic, and special guests round out the afternoon. General admission tickets run from 89 to 119 dollars depending on the tier, with fees included, and four-packs start around 199 dollars. Tickets are on AXS and the official event site, with a listing on the Visit Pasadena events page and coverage in the LA Daily News. Bring a jacket: November evenings at the Rose Bowl get cool once the sun drops behind the San Gabriel Mountains.

November 14: the Pasadena Symphony plays Beethoven's Seventh

The Pasadena Symphony continues its 2026-27 Classics season on Saturday, November 14 with Beethoven Symphony No. 7 at the Ambassador Auditorium, 131 S. St. John Avenue, with a 2:00 pm matinee and an 8:00 pm evening concert. Music Director Brett Mitchell conducts, with cellist Michael Kaufman as soloist. The program pairs Carlos Simon's Fate Now Conquers and Elgar's Cello Concerto with Beethoven's Seventh in A major, the "apotheosis of the dance" that is one of the most joyfully rhythmic symphonies ever written. Tickets are available through the Pasadena Symphony and Pops site or by phone at (626) 793-7172, and the full program note lives on the concert page.

November 14: PLAVE at the Pasadena Civic

The same night, the K-pop group PLAVE brings 2026 PLAVE World Tour [Keep It Manic] in U.S. to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, 300 E. Green Street, at 7:00 pm. This is the group's first-ever U.S. show and its only U.S. stop on the tour, so if it is on your list, tickets are worth moving on early. We covered the full details in our live music in Pasadena this fall guide, and tickets are on Live Nation and Ticketmaster. Between the orchestra at the Ambassador and a world tour at the Civic, November 14 is Pasadena's biggest music Saturday of the season.

All month: Passing Strange at the Pasadena Playhouse

If you like your live music with a story, the rock musical Passing Strange runs at the Pasadena Playhouse, 39 S. El Molino Avenue, from November 4 through November 29. A young Black artist trades middle-class Los Angeles for Amsterdam and Berlin in search of the "real," and the score is performed live on stage by a rock band, part coming-of-age memoir and part concert. Dates and tickets are on the Pasadena Playhouse tickets and events page.

A note on times: concert listings can shift, and details like start times, ticket availability, or program order are occasionally updated by the presenters. Please confirm directly with the venue before you head out, and use the links below for the latest. If you have a favorite Pasadena music event I missed, text me and I will add it to the next edition.
